Back in the spring of 2014 I attended a museum auction in Wolseley, SK where I bought several items of interest, one of which was the above broken side saddle.
My reasons for buying such a decrepit saddle was more for education purposes while touring on speaking engagements than for anything else. But what type of saddle was it and where did it originate?
