Welcome to the West

The late 19th century was an exciting period of history for the American and Canadian West.

Both countries consisted 0f  established cities along their east and west coasts. And both had prairies and plains struggling with growing pains. Divided into territories, these western  states and provinces needed men and women with strong backs and healthy attitudes to survive.

This is the backdrop for my inspiring stories of faith and everlasting love.
Although my stories have always been set in the west, they aren't all historicals. I began with contemporary westerns as shown on my books page, but my love of 0ld West history challenged me to write in the genre I love to read about.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
 6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

100 Year Old Love Letters

Author Memories blog is currently featuring the 1911 Courtship letters of Noah Draper of Saskatchewan and Ethel Nelson of Ontario. The letters are homey bits of trivia from days past. I'm showing them in their original state as well as typed out for those who may have problems reading handwriting. However, be ready for typos and misspellings as I type the letters exactly as the author wrote them in keeping with the history of the authors.
